Bethel Park author Craig Jones recently visited fourth graders at George Washington Elementary School, offering an encouraging message about change as students prepare to transition to the district's new elementary center next school year.
Jones, whose children's book "Everybody Stinks" won awards, shared an advance reading from his upcoming title, "Walker, Fly!" — a story about growth, courage, and discovering one's inner gifts. He reminded students that while change can feel uncomfortable, they already have the skills and support needed to succeed.
The visit, organized by teacher Mrs. Adrianna Krisfalusy, sparked a conversation about confidence and resilience as students prepare to leave behind familiar classrooms for a new building.
