Inspired by the district’s #bethekindkid Kindness in Action Campaign, Ben Franklin Elementary School teachers Ms. Peggy Ann Clancy and Ms. Suzanne Vighetti joined together to create a “Be the 'I' in KIND” wall to be utilized by the entire school.
Teachers can take pictures of their students being the “I” in KIND. The pictures may be used to create bulletin boards, make kindness books, or even added to a particular writing assignment for students that they created and shared through Google Slides.
Clancy said she and Ms.Vighetti came up with the idea to create something to foster kindness and caring for each other inside and outside school.
"Acts of kindness are so powerful that they not only have a positive impact on the receiver, but the giver, as well," she said.
